“Mama” je horor film čiji je izvršni producent Guillermo del Toro. Priča prati dvije male djevojčice, sestre, pronađene u divljini nakon 5 godina. Posvoje ih njihov ujak Luke (Nikolaj Coaster-Waldau) i njegova djevojka Annabelle (Jessica Chastain). Naravno, ubrzo se čudne stvari počinju događati. Dok su bile u šumi, o sestrama Victoriji (Megan Charpentiere) i Lily (Isabelle Nelisse) brinula se i štitila spodoba koju su nazvale Mama.
Ovo je izvrstan film. Upozoravam vas da, poput svih hororaca, ima puno “jump scares”, ali su kvalitetni, ne gluposti poput mačke koja izlazi iz kuta ili cipela koja pada s neba. “Mama” koristi CGI kako bi se stvorile tamne, uznemirujuće slike skupa s napetim orkestralnim zvukovima koji se naposlijetku savršeno upotpunjuju. Gluma je također bila izvanredna, posebice Jessica Chastain i Megan Charpentier. Isabelle Nelisse je bila solidna, ali dobila sam dojam da joj je prije svake scene rečeno što da točno učini, dok je Megan ipak dovoljno stara da razumije scenarij i priču. Ono što me usitinu impresioniralo je bilo to kako se priča odvijala, i to kako su prikazali odnos između majke i kćeri (doduše na malo jeziv način).
Preporučam da pogledate ovaj film, jer nije stereotipan horor. Nedostatak krvavih scena i visoka razina dobro napisane priče čini ovaj film uzbudljivim iskustvom za ljubitelje hororaca, a i za one koji ih baš i ne vole. 9/10 🙂
